“Entidade” is a photographic installation that explores the relationship between surrealism, spirituality, and contemporary visual culture.
The project reimagines religious and ritualistic imagery through staged scenes that combine symbolic gestures, veiled figures and ghost photography.
*The visual approach draws inspiration from surrealist religious paintings and 19th-century spiritist photography—especially images tied to the early séances and mediumship, where photography was used as a supposed tool for capturing the unseen.
This entities appear in various states of concealment or transformation, acting as anonymous entities that exist between presence and disappearance.
